At Currentum we invest in long-term leadership

We believe that strong leadership is built over time – in everyday life, together with others and through the will to keep developing.

We recently held our first Alumni leadership meeting for former participants in our leadership program – a reunion with a focus on experience sharing, reflection, networking and new perspectives on business, change management, culture and coaching leadership.

The response was very positive, and the Alumni Leadership Meeting will now be a recurring annual event within Currentum College. It feels both fun and important.

Voices of the participants (from the evaluation)

“Very rewarding and incredibly fun to meet other leaders.”

“Time to reflect on leadership, build networks and create community.”

“Nice to have a reunion, shows that leadership is taken seriously, that it is important for Currentum that leaders both thrive and develop.”

Today, we have several courses within Currentum College – everything from leadership programs to basic leadership training, project management training and training for leading fitters. The focus is still on Sweden, where we also have the most companies, but the initiative is gradually growing in Finland and Norway as well. In Finland, we have started project management training this year, and when the next round of the leadership program starts in June, Norwegian leaders will also participate for the first time.

“For us, leadership development is not just about training, but about investing in people and creating a culture where people have the opportunity to grow, take responsibility and develop together. This strengthens our employees, our companies and Currentum as a whole,” says Karin Hovlin, Head of HR, Communications & Sustainability.
