The future begins here

You can tell by the atmosphere in the Boctok offices that they are in the thick of things. They are in the middle of a €15 million project, and they have just signed the contract for another project worth more than €10 million that will start soon. What makes Boctok interesting on the Finnish market is that they can deliver a complete solution for large projects. With electrical, ventilation, piping and building automation, they are asked for the really exciting assignments – often with associated long-term service agreements. Since 2022, they are part of Currentum. Boctok is a platform investment for Currentum and the choice of Boctok was based on the same criteria that are successful in Sweden and Norway – the company is a leader in its geography, they share the same values as the rest of the group and they have a well-established brand and strong reputation that can be developed. Here’s how Janne talks about the company and the future with Currentum:

• We chose Currentum because we share the same values. And the Group understands that we have found a recipe for success and we now have the opportunity to build on it. Maintaining our culture and identity was crucial for us.
• We believe strongly in Currentum in Finland and we are already sharing our experience as the group looks for new companies to grow with here.
• And even though Currentum is not yet big in Finland, as CEO I already have a lot of talented colleagues to turn to in order to work on the big issues, those that concern our development and growth.
